A day in the life.
As our Client Service Manager on the Employee Health & Benefits team, you'll manage the day-to-day activities of the Employee Health & Benefits (EH&B) service team, to include Client Coordinators, Client Analysts and Senior Client Advocates and the EH&B Technical Trainer. You will be responsible for developing a strong team environment by promoting and living the mission, vision and values of Marsh McLennan Agency. Everyday will look different including a variety of tasks including:
• Participating in the recruiting, hiring and onboarding of new colleagues.
• Working closely with the EH&B Technical Trainer to identify training and onboarding needs of new employees and existing service team employees.
• Supporting colleague development by conducting annual performance and compensation reviews, developing personal development goals, and engaging in career paths discussions.
• Promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and commitment to quality.
• Balancing staffing needs to service clients (book size, coverage hours, time off)
• Staying informed regarding technical knowledge, market trends, company information and other operating techniques and pass along information.
• Looking for opportunities to enhance/innovate client deliverables to differentiate MMA in the marketplace.
• Engaging in regular communications with employees through one-on-one sessions, team meetings and departmental initiatives.
• Collaborating with cross-departmental leadership to enhance the client experience and deliver cohesive messaging from the firm.
Our future colleague.
We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:
• 5+ years of employee benefits and leadership/management experience in the area of insurance, risk management or similar industry.
• Effective public speaking skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong management and demonstrated team-building skills.
• Proven ability to establishes priorities and organizes time efficiency to ensure tasks are completed to meet or exceed deadlines.
These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:
• Bachelor's degree in business, risk management or equivalent
• Life and Health license (Required within 3 months of hire)
